All questions related to scanning photos that I've read have referred to 200 or 300 dpi. The lowest setting on my scanner is 600 dpi and it goes up from there. I have scanned my photos (hundreds, ugh) at 1200 dpi and my book is ready to go but I'm afraid the dpi setting is too high. Will I have to rescan all my photos or will they be OK? Very anxious to hear from someone knowledgable about this. Please respond!!

I haven't gotten into scanning my old photos yet, but I just read yesterday on the forum (somewhere) that either Marti or Cruiser scans at 1200 dpi and has no problem with it. You might want to do a search for either of their names and follow-up with them.
Hope this helps, Karen |
