I'm happy to help anyone who may have Photoshop questions. I've been using it professionally now for 18+ years.

I am a new member of mypublisher and am publishing coffee table books with my prints. Before I publish my coffee table books, I need help removing date stamp on 85 pictures that I recently took. All freeware I see for bulk restorations are not for MAC. Can anyone help? I do not have experience with Photshop but I know that restoration is picture by picture. I am willing to pay for the service even though I am looking for the most cost-effective way. I took the date stamp off the camera already. Lesson learned

I actually do have a question for you that I can't seem to figure out the answer to!
I've made a few great double-page layouts that I'm thrilled with and figured out how to chop them down to single pages (yay!)... but now my problem is that when I try to save them as jpegs to put into the book, I can't! My only options to "save" are: Photoshop (.PSD, .PDD), Large Document Format (.PSB), OpenEXR (.EXR), Portable Bit Map (.PBM, .PGM, .PPM, .PNM, .PFM, .PAM), Radiance (.HDR, .RGBE, .XYZE) or TIFF (.TIF, .TIFF)!! ....The jpeg option disappeared. ![]() I've had this issue before, and never could figure out the problem! Any suggestions?! I would really appreciate any feedback!! ![]() ********************UPDATE************************ ** FYI- Just in case anyone else was having the same problem, I figured I'd come back and let you know that I figured it out (after messing around with it for a few minutes)! I just had to go in and convert my image from a RGB 32 bits/Channel to a RGB 8 bits/Channel! Thaaaat's it!

Hello, I am new to bookmaking but not to layout & design. I just never did it on the computer, but have good computer skills. I want the best quality paper, binding, and layout options to show off the wedding pictures without emphasis on backgrounds or decorations. I am more interested in optimizing the actual photos and layouts. I have photographer's copyright ownership transferred to me. I am confused about these programs, I tried Snapfish and it was very poor quality. What I don't understand is this, are you using photoshop to edit and layout the book then submitting it to mypublisher for publishing only? I am looking for the highest end product quality, with maximum size exposure of photos in layout without overlapping or layers. What do you really think would work the best for all this please? I have spent hundreds of hours on this in iPhoto but it doesn't allow for larger sizes without buying the new version and I am guessing it's not the best program. I tried also the free download here. My husband and I are over 50, we need a quality book suited to mature folks, clean professional quality. Please help with advice~~

Thanks for your offer.
I'm trying to make a 2 page full bleed spread in the Deluxe album. What dimensions should I make each print and the dpi? I also use PhotoShop to create the jpg's for the albums. I brought in each photo in the software for My Publisher, but had to zoom the pictures and move each to get the perfect alignment for the 2 pages. I also tried this with a Pocket book and when it was printed it wasn't aligned. The customer service rep told me it shifted during upload? I uploaded another using the share album and it is perfect alignment on the internet. I hope it will print as it appears on screen. thanks in advance for any help Tom DeFazio |
