irregularly shaped images?
Does anyone have any experience with using irregularly shaped images in their mp books?
Obviously the image file itself is a square, but what if you had say a picture of a basketball, and you wanted only the picture of the basketball so in your photo editing software you cut out everything around it so the only thing remaining was a basketball. Can you use animage format in a book that preserves transparency? (like a gif)
I dont think this is possible....so assuming it is not....if I make the background on my image black (or white) will it blend seamlessly into the black (or white) background of the page I put it on so as to have the effect of only having the basketball on the page (thus creating the illusion of a round image having been used) or can you tell the difference when looking at the book between the black that was printed with the image and the black that is the page's background color? Any tips for how to handle this?
