View Full Version : Any way to substitue photos with a hi-res version?

Hi,

I'm building a service to make photobooks for others -- at least the first draft. I want to have my staff build these books using small versions of the photos (640x480) and then export them for review. When approved, we would build the book using the full-resolution version of the same photos.

I tried to export/import a book and it seems like the photos (low-res) are included in the export file. Is there an easy way to substitute the hi-res versions automatically?

I can have the hi-res photos named exactly the same (i.e. same file path) as the original low-res photos.

Thanks for your help,

Michael.

Hi Michael -
No there really is not. I'd recommend "sharing" a low res version. Which means you build the book with the high-res images, but then when you share through BookMaker (the button on the bottom) your customers can view it but cannoy buy it or anything. Would this work?

Sincerely,
