not sure if the two of these are connected and I have been in touch with the mypublisher support staff on this but I also wanted to poll the mac community a little.
I am having problems uploading a 100pg book. I complete the book try to order and it optimizes all of my images and then uploads all of my images, I go to the confirmation screen and even get a confirmation email...have done this 3 times now....but according to MP they are not receiving the book or it looks like there is a corrupted image in the book.
Has anyone else run into this?
The only thing that I can see that might be wrong is my book will not allow me to layout the cover. I go to the cover but instead of having a cover with a picture window that I can put an image in it *looks* like a full bleed layout page with nothing on it. I cannot add an image to it or change the page layout. When I try to change some of the cover settings it tells me that cover settings will be configured during checkout (which I assume is referring to choosing color/material). I have tried changing from a windowed cover to a cover with a book jacket and then back again to see if this helps but so far it has not.
I am not sure if this is a problem or not and if it is, i dont know how to fix it.
I also tried exporting the book and then importing it to 2,2 running on windows....but it woudlnt import, said I had a non-jpg formatted image (which I dont). Maybe this is referring to the corrupted image that is preventing the upload and/or the messed up cover.
I am going to try downloading bookmaker again and reinstalling it over the current installation as suggested by MP support but im not sure whether or not this is going to cause me to lose all of my currently saved books (since it doesnt seem to create actual files anywhere for saved books).
Any ideas?
