Copy/Paste Text - What's Up With That?

I read through the help manual and saw that copy/pasting text is not recommended but if you do, you need to retype certain characters. What's up with that? Isn't this a basic function of all typing software?

I tried to copy and paste just a little bit of text and it won't let me do it. I think I tried two sentences. So I converted my text to "plain text" and tried to copy/paste again but no luck. I have a lot of text to enter and this just is not going to work at all...I'm very dissappointed. I hope you can do something about this.

Is the only way to type everything into the app?

BookMaker does allow copying and pasting of text however some fonts and characters may not be recognized by our software. That is why we recommend retyping any symbols within BookMaker and also making sure you are trying to copy text in a font available within BookMaker. This will help to ensure there are no text errors when transferring your files to our presses.
