Poor BLACK Ink coverage

Has anyone gotten books back where the black coverage is mottled? Some of the tuxedo shots look like the suits are plaid instead of solid black. I didn't lighten the photos and wanted to know how to avoid this problem if possible? Any suggestions?

Hello I responded to a previous post of yours after analyzing the book, and I feel the black is printed exactly as the images from your book file look on my screen. I am sorry, but maybe the tuxedos were really shiny. It looks like they had vertical lines as part of their design which contributed to that plaid effect you mention.
