Downloading mypublisher for MAC

When I download, and follow the directions, it downloads it as if it is a disk (eject to close), and As soon as you open the program, it says it is only attached to the book and won't work with updates.

What does all that mean? Why is the download acting as if it is a disk?

I would have to say that the book was started prior to downloading in case that has something to do with it.

I was downloading Bookmaker for MAC. I checked last night and I do have Iphoto 08 ver 7.1 if that has something to do with it.

Also the plugin seemed to work but then realized that the purchase was through Imac.

Confused!

BookMaker MAC is compatible with iphoto 08 so that shouldn't be a problem. Can you view it in the applications folder? Maybe it's trying to download it to the wrong place?
