frustrated

I am frustrated trying to make my book.
I have designed all my pages in photoshop and are trying to put them together in 'mypublisher'. So here are al my questions...
(a) I have created my pages in photoshop to the size of 8.75 x 11.25 w/ a 1/4" margin. However, when I load the pages in 'mypublisher'. some things are getting 'cut off'. Is the 1/4" margin not correct? or is there suppose to be a specific 'dpi' that it's suppose to be set to? I believe mine is at 300dpi.
(b) I don't know if I am the only one that is super frustrated and irritated that the first page can not have a picture on it...but since there is not, is there a way to have it ONLY all white (or another color) and not have the 'box' show?
(c) I am making the book jacket (which I am excited is available) and yet again frustrated with the options. Can the back cover just be an image (full bleed)? Or even if it's all one color, but without that gray 'line' showing?
(d) also w/ the book jacket... can either of the inside flaps just be all one color, without words or the 'lines'??

Hi Kate -

Currently we offer email support and call you if there is an issue we cannot resolve over email.

1) where is it getting cut off? When we design our tempates we use a page sliz of 8.5 by 11 with .04 inch of bleed on all 4 sizes.

2) The first page can have a picture on it. Simply click "remove page" for the title page.

3) It sounds like you are better off using the regular jacket feature, not the advanced jacket. They has simply a black wrap, no lines...etc.

I am also using Phot Shop.
But I was aware that you have to leave items 1/4" away from the edge.
I've done pages both ways. leaving the 1/4" margin and bringing things to the edge.
I have made pages brought them into My Publisher and noticed some of the design was cut off so I went back into Photo Shop and recreated it with the margin and it worked fine.
