I just finished a Classic 86-page book called ?Nature?s Wonders? and it?s probably the best book I?ve made so far, after about 13 others. The book is about hiking trips my husband and I took in 2004-05 in Arizona and Nevada. I?m also going to post this link under the forum heading ?Scrapbooks? because many of the pages in this book were done as scrapbook layouts in PowerPoint, saved as .jpg?s, and placed on the pages. Here?s the link if you?re interested:

Hi, there!
Terrific book, with loads of great photos.
We've done 4 books so far, and working on another now, but have yet to use Power Point. I've seen it used in a handful of other books, and the flexibility it gives you is wonderful.
Definitely something we'll have to try in the near future.
Thanks for sharing!

Hi Art,
Thanks for your kind comments. Some of the locations we visited that were featured in that book were pretty amazing; and they were all right here in the great USA! And yes, I love the flexibility of PowerPoint and the 10 x 7.5 slide size. It fits perfectly on a Classic MyPublisher (MP) page. I've done 14 books, not all with MP, but am loving the process. With PowerPoint, you can actually design your complete page layout on the PowerPoint slide (if you choose), save it as a .jpg, and then insert it on a full-bleed MP page. The possibilities are endless as far as creativity. Give it a try - I think you'll be happy with the results.
Happy bookmaking,
Marti

Thanks, Norma. I think PowerPoint is worth checking out. It has worked great for me with MyPublisher and as someone else recently mentioned, almost everyone has Microsoft PowerPoint on their computers, so it's accessible and easy to use. Let me know if I can help you with any questions.
