Is my book too large?? Program keeps freezing up...

I have a book that the folder size is 438 MB. Every time I get in to My Publisher I can't get past much further than putting 2 images in before it freezes up on me. I don't know if this is too large of a book - 62 pages of full size images?? Or if it's just something wrong with the installation. I have version 2.2 and just today have uninstalled and reinstalled it. Help!!

Hi rterry -
I've actually worked on books as large as 1.5 gigs. Do you have a lot of memory on your machine? Sometimes increasing the memory, if that is possible helps a lot. We are also working on a new version of BookMaker that will better handle large books.

I am always making 100 pg. books, and the program is unbearably slow, especially near the end. The fuller the book, the slower it is. Making changes later to a full book is insufferable. (My computer is pretty respectable too.)
