Hello,

I finished my book last week and it looks great! I have to have this book by May 25th at the latest. Well, last week I started uploading the book on my dialup connection. I have tried several times. In fact, I called my credit card company today, and I have almost $400 worth of pending charges from Mypublisher. The book I am trying to order is around $33, so you can tell how many times I have tried! The problem is that I have never been to the confirmation screen. I have been uploaded to 100% a couple of times, but never received an email or have the elusive number they talk about.

I guess my question is, am I going to receive the books that I have "pending" charges for? How will I know if the book ever even reached them? I have sent 4 or 5 emails over the last week with NO reply, even though it says there is a 2 hour response time.

Also, while it was trying to upload I kept getting the message Error 12002. So what does that mean?

I am very frustrated at this point. An 800 customer service number where you wait for hours is better than none at all.

PLEASE somebody help me as time is ticking away.

Well, I just recieved 2 copies of this dang book by Fedex. So it looks like I am going to end up with a ton of these friggin books. Please beware folks. I never seen an email. I never recieved a confirmation number. All I know is that I have $400 going to be charged to my credit card account and cannot speak to anyone. I found this phone number for thier executive offices and have left a message. The number is 212-935-5215.

As I mentioned earlier, I emailed them several times, I even tried this forum to no avail. I guess I will just have to try a different route. The software did not behave in the fashion that they said it would.

Don't get me wrong, the book looks nice and all, but I certainly don't want 13 or 14 copies of it.

We apologize that you had trouble uploading and we want to assure you you will not be charged for all of your upload attempts. Each time a book is uploaded, a hold is placed on the purchasing credit card. No actual charges are billed on the card until your book is shipped. The error 12002 is a time-out message that may occur when trying to upload over a slow Internet connection speed such as dial-up. So if the upload attempt is not successful you will not be billed nor will you receive a confirmation email.
However, you should have received an order confirmation email for the orders that went through. We will look into this immediately and a CS representative will be in touch with you shortly.
