Except for these minor errors, the MP albums are fantastic. I'm hooked and can't wait to do more!

Yesterday I received 2 books. They arrived within 5 days of ordering which was great. The only problem was the text on the jacket fronts had been printed incorrectly. A couple words had been shifted higher into the design and doesn't look good. My preview is correct, but somehow in the printing process it was altered.

I sent this information to customer service yesterday about this order # M507040. Naturally MP is really busy right now, but I've had no response for this problem. I know you'll correct the problem. Hopefully ASAP.

The other problem with the jacket is that the white writing on the black jacket background is so small that it's extremely hard to read. My recommendation would be that MP limit the size for the lettering to slightly bigger. Right now, the smallest font you allow is way too small. It might be OK on a white background, but it's too small and pale on black. You almost need a magnifying glass to see it.

Again thanks for your great product and I look forward to hearing from you. I already have 2 more books that I've ordered and am excited to receive them soon.

Hello - which words were shifted higher? I took a look at the book file on my end and couldn't tell...can you explain what you expected? I just want to see if there is something we need to fix, because things don't shift once they are on the book file.

Thanks so much! I'm so glad you love our books :)

Sincerely,

On my preview, the words "Sweet Caroline" are totally in the area where the braided rug is (not on the wood steps). That's where I placed the words for my cover and that's what my preview shows (when I uploaded it and now.I've made no changes). On the finished book jackets that came, those words are now 1/2 way on the white steps above and 1/2 way into the braided rug area below. Because of that there's a horizontal line that runs through the length of those 2 words because of the break between the rug and wooden steps, so it's more difficult to read the text with a line running through it. The words below it,"From the beginning," are fine on the white area below, even though they are also raised a bit. I just measured and both lines of words are @ 3/16" higher than my preview was. There was plenty of room in the white area to compensate for this, but it does make a difference with the words Sweet Caroline. It doesn't sound like much but it does.

I would really appreciate a replacement of the 2 jackets because the text is too high for whatever reason. Other than the jackets, the books are perfect. Naturally I don't expect the books to be replaced, just the jackets. Additionally as I said in the 1st comment, the smallest font on the black flaps is very small and pale so it's difficult to read. That is disappointing because I also used the smallest font on black flaps for 2 books I ordered 2 days ago and I suspect that it'll be difficult to read those too. For this size book the smallest font doesn't work too well on black.

Not a problem. I can take care of that on Monday.

Thank you very much for the quick answer when you're so busy. This is just 1 of the reasons why I like MP so much. Your customer service has been excellent very responsive. The main thing that I try to do is explain in as much detail what the problem is.

I'll look forward to replacing the jackets for order #M507040. If there's also a problem with the small text on the black flaps of the order I just placed, I'll let you know right away after receiving them.

Hi Creative LKJ -
I recommend increasing the size of the font, as they will print exactly as they did the last time. You will have to recreate your jacket anyway to have it reprinted. so you might as well edit everything you didn't like.
