Text issue

I am hesitant to upload my book because I have been having issues with the text. In the beginning of my bookmaking I was able to select Arial font, but if I change the location of the photo, the font changes to something else that I cannot edit due to a font style box issue. The font style box shows up with nothing in it and shows the image behind it. What do I do? I just want all of my text to be the same size and style.

Hi Shane - as long as it looks correct in Preview you should be all set.

You can try opening and closing BookMaker to see if a text box got stuck or something along those lines.

Thats the thing...in preview, I can tell that it is not Arial font, and yet I cannot change it. Is that something that can be fixed on your end after its uploaded?

Hi Shane -

There is no way to modify the book file after it has been uploaded. What I have seen is when a font gets stuck, try changing the size, changing the font, clicking around and you should be able to get it off of that stuck font.

I'm having this same issue - the text box just shows the image that was behind it and there is no possible way to select the font size, color or anything. I've closed & re-opened the software probably a dozen times over the course of two weeks & the problem won't go away. I'm afraid to re download the software, because I assume that I will loose my book?

You can easily redownload the software and it does not overwrite anything.

Hi. Just wondering if this issue with the blank text box was resloved. I'm having the exact same problem. Did you end up redownloading the program? I'm nervous to do this for the fear of overwriting. And if I do, will I have to start the album again from scratch?
