View Full Version : Can't get purchase page to work at all

I've been reading the postings and have tried everything suggested. Problem: after clicking Purchase, I check the "yes I have previewed" then (many times) get "You have clicked back into the BookMaker software," I have version 2.2, IE 7, medium security setting, firewall set for "full access" for BookMaker, cookies enabled. I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled the software. I do not see the browser window open or anything else open. I have tried completely disabling the firewall, no luck. I'm running XP Professional. I also cleared out the history and temp files of IE 7. Has anyone with this particular glitch found any solution?

I've been having the exact problem for the past 24 hours. I've up loaded books before, but can't get it to work today.

Hello - I'm trying to figure out what to tell you both next to try. As long as all of those settings are correct, it really should work. Please try to close your Internet Browser first and all other windows besides BookMaker.

BookMaker requires the browser to launch...is it possible it is hidded or minimized?

My advise if you can't get it to go is to export your file and to try on an alternate computer.

Volume is not that high so that should not be interfering.

I got it to work this afternoon. The problem was explorer was not my default browser, never has been my default browser.. This wasn't a problem the last time I uploaded a book, but apparently it mattered this time. After I made explorer 7 my default browser it uploaded with no problem.

BINGO! When I checked, my IE was not designated as my default browser either. Fixed that and problem solved. The purchase and upload went like gravy. Thanks for sharing your discovery.

I have responded to all your posts in other forums. You are able to get to the puchase, just can't seem to complete the upload. I offered you some suggestions to get past it. Hopefully they worked!
