2 Page Layout Question

Hi, I hope someone can help me.
This past summer I made a book of engagement photos with the deluxe hardcover and loved it. Well, now I'm ready to make wedding parent's albums - but I want to be more adventurous and create my layouts using PhotoShop Elements and then import them in MP.
My question is - I know that a one page layout (15x11.5 book) is 2633 pixels wide (L) and 2066 wide (P). So when you are doing a two page layout on photoshop, what should your image size be?
Also, when the image is cropped into two individual jpegs, do I need to overlap somewhat to account for the binding?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Kristie -
Yes, the binding can swallow up a good 1/4-1/4 inch. It's difficult to give an exact measurement...it's a bit of trial and error. Try one and share the book with yourself to see how it matches up together - just a suggestion!
