Purchase - Not Response

First time buy Photo book, I have spent 20 hours to make my deluxe book and hurry for discount deadline FALL2040. However when I press PURCHASE after preview, after I press NEXT in a page "Internet connection required", no response at all.

Should there any login prompt? How can I buy this book into shopping cart?
It is really hurry for 25% discount FALL2040, please help.

I am really mad, try many times, still no response (it show a hand then few seconds it disappear, no new page open, no new screen created) after NEXT button

Hello - We will extend the coupon for people having technical troubles so do not worry. Are you using Safari or Firefox as your default browser? I recommend trying one, and then if that doesn't work, try the other as your default browser. The problem is that BookMaker is trying to locate the server but it can't find a connection. Please make sure your securty settings are set to medium and that you have cookies enabled as well.

After read your advice, I try Safari then Firefox as your default browser, this time after press NEXT, it show a waiting icon but then still nothing more. What should I expect if it work?

i have tried both safari and firefox as the default ... i've set the security to medium and accepted cookies ... but still no luck.

chanchan ... when you open up safari or firefox, to to the preference on top, their you have options to set to default, enable cookies, set to med security.

mypublisher ... please help with this mac problem

Having the same problem as chanchan...I try to purchase my book and all I get is a "security warning: data decryption error" - I've tried changing the security settings to no avail. Any suggestions?

I love my book, just want to order it :(

After clicking the NEXT button, your browser must launch. The browser is where the shopping cart is contained.

Can people tell me is everyone seeing the "Internet Connection Required" screen or is it saying "Have you Previewed your book", you click next and nothing happens?

- No Browser launch (with/ without Shopping Cart)
- Not see "Internet Connection Required" screen
- Not see "Have you Previewed your book"
- click next, cursor turn to wait mode for few second, then nothing happens

Do you have a firewall it could be conflicting with?

If you have a different computer you can try with that would also be helpful. Do a FILE > EXPORT and you can try downloading BookMaker and uploading on another computer to see if you have the same issues.

Maybe this will help... I first had issues trying to order MP books from my MAC. Internet Explorer did not work because MP did not recognize the internet connection. Firefox did not work & kept freezing up. However, Safari works perfectly for me. I've placed a few different orders using Safari and haven't had any problems. It generally takes about 15 minutes to upload a 35-40 MB book (sometimes it's a little slower). I still have Firefox on my computer, but Safari is the default.

Anyway, this is what's worked for me. If I were you I'd try shutting everything down & then uploading again with Safari.

Restart everything and start with Safari as default but it still not work.

Possible reason 1:
I'm using Bookmaker 2.1 for Mac (My Mac OS is 10.4.10), should I downgrade it to lower ver ?
Or Sara, may I know your Safari ver? (Mine 2.04) & setting (mine is Cookie Enable but secuirty set to medium I don't know how?)

Possible reason 2:
MP connection is busy or anything need to be fixed?

I try to install Boot Camp in my mac so that I can install Window in my mac.
However, it come up all Boot Camp Beta is no longer available from Nov, I need to upgrade OS to 10.5 Leopard by paying USD$130. As I keen to made the Photo Book, okay, no problem. The OS upgrade just reach me, I will install Window in my Mac tonight.

Email customer service and they will give you a unique coupon that will honor the discount. I really do apologize for the technical issues you were having. I'm sorry I don't have any better ideas for MAC people.
