View Full Version : is it normal for the share book preview to be really pixelated?

My book has been printed and should be shipped soon (yay!). I got the link to view the shared book but when I went to view it the zoom feature gives a horrible representation of the image - very pixelated and fuzzy and the text is hardly legible. I'm so excited to give this book, but after reading some of the horror stories on here I'm terrified the images are going to be blurry even though I followed the guidelines for sizing etc. Fingers crossed for a good product...

Hi Robyn -
Share is only a low resolution version of the book file viewed in a flash player. Do not worry - as long as your images were good, your book will be great.

Gosh I hope so.... I have the same problem! I placed an order today for 1 deluxe and 3 classics of the same 41-page book (wedding pics). Everything looked great in Bookmaker (no redlines around the images either). But when I look at it online using the "share" function, the pics are all pixelated and look like total crap! I hope that isn't what the finished product is going to look like. I used high res images given to us by our photographer - they print just fine at my house.... My husband is going to be really annoyed at me if I just threw away $200....

Yup! This would be correct. My share book is nice to look at but it doesn't have anywhere near the clarity of the actual book. In fact, the cover page and jacket of my share book doesn't even look readable but when you get the book- all looks great :)
