I just finished my first book last night; it was a parents album of our wedding; I used the classic book! I previewed it and it looked nice so I paid for it and all that stuff. Now that I am looking at other albums I am thinking I may have messed up. I worked on my book two pages at a time but was I supposed to make them match oneanother since they are next to eachother? for example I used only pictures and didn't add templates that had text so one pages may have a tan background and the following page may have a grey background! Is that going to look strange; and has anyone else made a book like that?

Also, I read on a few other threads that two sided pages sometimes bleed though; is that true? Any help would be great; I am really worried about my book now.

Steph,

The first question is really an "artistic" choice that only you can answer. It won't necessarily look 'strange'.

The second question, though, I can answer from my own experience. I have never had an issue with the image from one side of the page bleeding through the second page. I am a very regular reader of the forums and I can't recall this being an issue too often (if at all).

I suspect that, like the majority of people here, you will love the results when you get the book delivered.

Thanks for the help! I just hope it comes out well. I read you one post and I am going to go with the "orginal" type of wedding album for us. It just has that extra special attraction to it. But for the parents and grandparents I am going to make them through MP if I like that book. I just want something that will last well beyond 10 years.

I second everything irusan said :) I didn't necessarily make every page in my book 'match' background wise and it looks fine, it's just a question of the way you want your book to look.

Secondly- the pages are fairly thick so bleeding through is something I haven't heard of or encountered.

thanks! I am getting the reassurance I need now :) This book was only 55 bucks but still I want it to look good! How long does it usually take to get the book?

HI Steph c -
I'm sure it will come out great :)

It usually takes under 4 days, but with this high volume it can take up to 6 business days.

Sincerely,
