Your coupons are completely misleading and a total joke. I just spent days getting 2 books together and they total over $100 together which I made sure was the case because the coupon reads as 40% off any $100 ORDER! No where does anything tell you that you can not order more than one book on an order until you actually go to do it and can't find the option of adding more than one book to the order! (and no I don't want multiple copies of the same book!)

"This coupon entitles user to 20% off any order over $50.00 and 40% off any order over $100.00"

It does not say per BOOK over $50 or $100 it says per ORDER. You are completely misleading people by not saying it is per book!

I am completely furious and seriously considering not ordering either of the books after this. If you want to have customers you SERIOUSLY need to change your system so that the books can be ordered together or I definitely will not be wasting my time with your company.

Hi Aetnyre -

I'm really sorry that you felt misled. We have terms and conditions everywhere, in every email and right off our hompage that explicitly state that you cannot combine orders for the discount. Right now we do not have that capability in our shopping cart, because its one upload per order, in order for us to process your book file. I do apologize for any inconvenience this as caused you.

Here's a link to the T&C's off our homepage:

I have done my fair share of ordering products online and I have never come across a website where you could not order more than one item at a time. You might say that it says in the terms and conditions that this is explained but you definitely should change the wording of the coupon. I can see by the numerous postings in regards to this that it is extremely misleading for many people. The coupon should be worded per BOOK - not per ORDER because in this day and age I don't think there is anyone who expects that an ORDER would be limited to only 1 book.

If MP is the decent company you all claim it is - you should follow thru and allow those people who are place total orders (yes that means multiple books!) to use the discount offered in the coupon - 40% off my $100 ORDER!

I really am sorry you are so frustrated about the coupon situation. In all honesty, we don't consider PhotoBooks just products that you purchase online, they are all custom made, hand made one by one actually.

The reason why we can't offer the coupon across orders is because our system can only handle one book file per order. We can print multiple copies of that book, but in each order, that is how our infrastructure is currently built.

I do understand there is a desire to place multiple book types into one order, and it is on the wish list that I share with our technology team.

Unfortunately at this time, we are limited by what our systems can support.

I really do hope you understand.

Sincerely,
MyPublisher

I ran into this same problem and was quite furious as well. It really is a simple matter of semantics. If My Publisher said "per book" rather than "per order" this wouldn't be a problem and would not be misleading. one book=one order. I have ordered several books off several different sites and one order does equal more than one book. MP has mentioned that it is a matter of time until multiple books can be placed in one order. Until that time, it would be clearer and make MP less frustrating and more customer-friendly to specify that the coupon is per book. .
