We are doing a wedding book. On the front jacket, you put in your name and date, but that information automatically populates on to the 1st page of the album and goes over part of the picture. We do not want any words or number on the 1st page blocking our photo. If we delete the wording inside the text box, the blank text box stays there. Does anyone know how to get rid of this text on the 1st page of the album while keep the title on the book jacket? Thanks.

Rich

Could you just try to delete the page (the one AFTER the COVER). I remember when I made a book of my friend's son's wedding, the first page showed those lines etc as well. However, I did not use a cover option on the COVER that had text on it, so those boxes were not populated. However I didn't want the first page to have that kind of information anyway, so I just deleted it (DELETE PAGE button at the bottom right) Then I selected a ONE photo page as my first page, on which I put a beautiful picture that the photographer had taken of the Wedding Invitation surrounded by flowers. It came out beautifully.

Hello - I'm a bit confused. What do you mean by the 1st page is blocking your image? It sounds like you have a full bleed image on the cover (maybe a book jacket?) - the first page should be a title page, which you can delete.
When you are on the 1st page, not cover, what does it say in the page type menu in make book? Please verify it does not say "cover"
Sincerely,

Thank you, I simply deleted the cover page and used a full page picture as my first page.
