Blurry Pictures

I just started using this program and am working on the cover. But the problem is my picture keeps coming out blurry! They were shot with a 10 mega pixel camera by a photographer; so why are they not coming out clear? They open up fine in other programs.

It is possible your images are just taking a long time to load. The blurry is most likely due to the image size and performance than anything else...
