Hi, I've built my book but when I click purchase, it says "Internet connection required." My computer is hooked up to the internet via cable modem. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks --

I am having the same problem. I searched around this and other forums, and I thought I had isolated the problem as having to do with Firefox. I closed Firefox and tried to work through Safari--that didn't work either. Even after downloading Internet Explorer (something I had not wanted to do, because it is such an unfriendly browser), this would not work. I made Internet Explorer my "default browser" to make sure that MyPublisher would launch, and that did not work.
All I can say is that I hope they contact us and do something to correct the problem. They are trying to market MyPublisher as an alternative to Macintosh's iPhoto, and clearly they did not test this from Macs. I saw somewhere that someone was able to upload a book by exporting it to their son's PC and then working from there. That is too funny, or pathetic.
Anyway, I'm hoping that we'll hear back from the company, and that after they fix the problem, they will do something to make up for this huge frustration. I never, never would have spent the 2 hours to recreate a book from iPhoto in their Bookmaker software if I had any idea how much of a problem I would have trying to purchase the book.

I spent nearly 40 hours in the last 3 days working on my 47 page book. I was able to purchase the book but after uploading 61 percent, it quit on me. Now I can't get in again to start over as the purchase/next button does not ask me to verify the preview, so it does not proceed. I already gave my credit card information, but am blocked. I gave up an entire weekend, ignoring everyone to get this done over the weekend, since I have no time next week. I sent emails which were not returned. The website says the reason they do not take calls is because they believe they respond faster via email. With a 10 hour posted wait for an email response that makes the 24/7 meaningless. If anyone figures out the answer, please write. This company really cost me loads...

Ouch! Many hours ago, I was one step from purchasing my first photo book via iphoto ilife 08 and I decided to look around and see what other services are competing at apple's level. I came across www.mypublisher.com and noticed that you've created a plugin that would save me from re creating my iphoto album. The excitement was at an all time high, however, short lived. After troubleshooting the problem I found out through other sources that it was not compatible iphoto 08 (you could have prevented that exercise by just identifying that next to the download). I wasn't going to let that stop me since the book maker application seemed like it could still be easier to deal with since it resembled the iphoto program. I found some features and options to be better than my experience with iphoto while others features missing or lacking. Overall, without seeing the finished product, the application was good enough to make mypublisher the company of choice for creating all my future books.
Now, the difficult part, after spending hours learning the new app and creating a new album on bookmaker I click "PURCHASE" and ........................ Nothing. I'm having the same problem as everyone else in this thread..... I'm hoping you guys arrive in the morning only to find a server misbehaving and reboot it so that I can push this order through tomorrow morning...

Hello - we are not having any technical problems on our end. If you have your default browser set as Firefox, try Safari - or vice versa. Make sure you have cookies enabled and medium security settings.
If all of that is set correctly you should be able to get through. You can also try restarting BookMaker in between any settings changes.
I hope this helps!
Sincerely,
MyPublisher
