Hello, I created a book using iPhoto '08 (version 7.1) intending to publish using MyPublisher via the plugin. I installed the plugin and it reported that the installation was successful. However, when I click Buy Book in iPhoto I get just Apple's purchase page. Is your plugin compatible w/this version of iPhoto? Any help would be appreciated as I'm ready to order three copies of my 100+ page book!

Hi Indigo -
Unfortunately, the plug-in is not compatible with iPhoto '08. I apologize for this inconvenience. I recommend using BookMaker MAC to take advantage of our coupons and specials.
Sincerely,
MyPublisher

Hello,
Will you make a plugin that will be compatible with iPhoto 08?

At the moment there are no plans to develop for iphoto 08. We are investing our time and resources to create BookMaker MAC and offer many great product enhancements to our Mac community.
Sincerely,
MyPublisher

Sorry, no way I am going to do that. I have many books already created within iphoto, and like working with that. Unless you offer an export from iphoto to BookMaker which preserves all the formatting I will just stick with iphoto. What a pity, as I really like the leather binding Mypublisher offers.
Please update the plugin!

I agree with the above post. I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of books made with iPhoto and the MyPublisher plugin, and they've been great. I've downloaded and tried BookMaker for Mac and it doesn't come close to iPhoto for book design.
I'd happily continuing ordering from MyPublisher with or without discount coupons, but unless the plugin is updated to work with iPhoto '08, I'd go back to ordering books directly from Apple.

Hi Patrick -
I am truly sorry you feel that way. I wish I could tell you it was compatible, but unfortuantely it is not. As I stated, we are updating BookMaker to give it many more features. I think you will be happy with it! I know for a fact that it's not just about features but about the final output. Ours is far superior to the competition.
Sincerely,
MyPublisher
