Why can't we order books of different sizes?

For mother's day I made a nice book of our kids. I wanted a single hardback for my wife and two paperbacks for the in-laws. I couldn't do it. It was very frustrating. I had to pay for shipping twice, plus, I couldn't get over the $100 mark to get 50% off.

I agree. This is a VERY frustrating limitation! I had the same problem!

I'm very sorry for this inconvenience. Unfortunately, our systems currently don't allow combining orders of different book sizes. The reason is that we have different covers and styles available for different book sizes, so it's not as easy as it seems. There are details that are part of the book files that change base don the size of the book ordered. We are working on improving these systems.
