Hi,
I made a book deluxe book online and when I received it all the pics were grainy. Customer service told me the pics had too high of megapixels. So, I e-mailed then a picture with properties closer to what they recommend. They said it still wasn't good. Can someone please tell me the properties of a picture they used that came out great in a deluxe book? Please include Dpi, resolution and megapixels.
Thank you so much.
Ellen

Hi Ellebelle1 - I'm going to contact you off line. I'm working on this grainy, high resolution issue to see if there is something we can do to alleviate this problem. I'm going to ask that you send me some images that caused the problem. I'll email you my contact information.

Sincerely,

Hi. similar question. (I'm new, too).. If I'm doing a Deluxe book and want to control the design of each page and submit the one image file representing each page... (i.e. full size image of page that features different photos in it)... and they are set at 300 dpi and the page file size ends up being 20 MBs will that be a problem? I've seen notes about limiting
the file sizes and think that this is probably an issue.. Thanks.

Hi Schwerno -

I'm not entirely positive because each file is different, however 20mb ber page is definitely overkill. I can forsee having problems with that. Generally even 1mb files print perfectly in a Deluxe book. Is there any way you can make the file size smaller? I'd try to limit it to 5mb per page if you have the ability to do that.

Sincerely,
