Hi-
I have, what I think is a silly problem but one that I can't seem to find an answer to. When I get onto the home page of mypublisher.com there isn't a way to easily access my work in progress or to quickly start a new book without having to download the software each and every time. I feel like I am missing something really obvious, and I hope I am, or does everyone have to upload the software every time to get to the proper page where you can start a new book or work on an old one? And if so how come this is? Doesn't it bother every one else? How come they can't have a login button where you can login and they then give you options to work on old projects or start a new one? For a seemingly sophisticated website this seems like on odd oversight. Please, someone tell me what I am missing:)

It's easy to access BookMaker with your work in progress if you just create a shortcut to your desktop. Then the last book you were working on will be right there.

Let me just ad about how to put BookMaker on your desktop. You'll need to go to your programs, right click on BookMaker without opening it and indicate you want it on your desktop. It's very convenient to have it there and opens directly to your account..

BookMaker is a software program that is stored on your computer. It is not a web-based program. Therefore to start a new book or work on an existing one, all you have to do is open the program by selecting it from your list of programs. Then under File in the upper left hand corner, you can choose New Book or Open Book. There is no need to revisit the website. You will connect through the Internet to upload and purchase your book or to download one of new themes should you choose to use one. But besides that, all the work takes place offline on your own computer.
