Changing font information

When I go to type in text I can tell there is a 'box' above that obviously provides some font choices, including size. However, this box doesn't fully appear and I don't know what else is offered... bold? italic? centered? left?

I'm on a PC, using firefox, downloaded MyP from costco's web site.

Help!
