Please help. I am using a brand new, super max ram max size hard drive Mac intel duocore. I am running in the OSX partition, and using the newest version of Bookmaker for Mac.

My book won't load, either in Firefox or Safari. Bigger problem, each time I've tried (probably 5 or 6 times), it's applied a roughly $65 authorization to my credit card. Well, the authorization will be there for several days, but it's now up to $270-some dollars, and I have no more room on my card to keep trying, nevermind that it has already failed some 6-ish times.

I reported the error each time through the popup window detailing the error. My husband's birthday is next Friday, and I've been working at loading this for 3 days. As it is, I'm already going to have to pay additional for 2-day FedEx, and might still not get it in time. Please help--email me or post here, but I have followed every single direction and still can't load the thing without the software crashing.

Nikki

Before starting the "upload" process, BookMaker does put an authorization on your credit card, but as mentioned previously, they do not charge your credit card until it ships. I do agree it shouldn't put an authorization until the book has been uploaded and hopefully they will look into changing this, but for now you have no worries that your card will be charged unless the upload was successful.

That is correct. We do not charge you until it ships. If you are having a specific problem due to the authorizations, contact customer service and they can possibly get the bank to remove the ones that don't have orders attached to them.
