I just received my photo book about an hour ago and I must tell you that it completely blew me away. I was skeptical because of some of the older posts I had read about MyPublisher but figured I'd give it a try anyway. I've done books with Kodak Gallery and this one is far better and exceeded my expectations.
I took 2,200 pictures on our July Hawaii Cruise. I narrowed down to 1,250 and then downloaded MyPublisher 2.0. I selected the Deluxe Hardcover and got to work. By the time I got done, I did 100 pages (50 double sided pages) and used 715 photos.
I will say the process was not completely painless. Once you get to about page 80, the program slows to a crawl. I have a Pentium Dual Core with 2 GB of RAM and it was so slow for the last 20 pages. So bad, that I almost gave up on it, but I figured I had come this far, I would keep going. I'm so glad I did.
I uploaded the photos on Tuesday, Sept 18th. I got them today, Sept 24th. I own a travel agency and had the books delivered here to the office. The entire office has been asking me about the program. They are all very impressed and we'll probably start recommending to our clients.
On a side note, I used the travel template. At times I was very concerned because when I imported/placed a photo into a frame that had the pictures offset to the left or right, the pictures looked blurry on my screen. I was worried that they would be blurry in the actual book too. But when I got the book today, the photos were as clear as the ones I took.
By the way, all my pictures were high resolution - over 1.5 MB each. To say it took a while to upload is an understatement. But again, it was well worth it.
