A group of us want to make a wedding book for mutual friends. We live in different countries. Each of us wants to create 5-10 pages and put them all together in one book. Is there a way to do this?

Unfortunately there isn't (another forum member asked this a few weeks ago).

One person needs to act as the "lead designer", and have the other people send in their images.

Now, however, that we can share our books prior to ordering, at least the person who is doing the actual book building can share it with the other people and then receive feedback first.

That's a pity. This would be an enormously useful feature, since so many groups of friends/colleagues are internationally based these days. Do you think there's any chance this will change with mypublisher in the future? Thanks for the help!

If enough people ask for it, they may add it to their list of feature enhancements.

I don't work for MyPublisher and I am not affiliated with them in any way so, obviously, I can't speak for them.

In the meantime, there is an alternative. There is software out there that allows you to share your computer with other users. There is "Remote Desktop Sharing" from ManageEngine, GoToMyPC from Citrix, RemoteDesktop (if you are running Windows XP Professional).

This would allow you to share your computer with your friends/family and they can work on the book off of your computer.

WARNING - you are leaving your computer accessible to people in the outside world and there are risks. That's why a lot of companies intentionally don't provide for multi-user access to files over the web unless they host the files. Otherwise they could be held liable if someone uses their software to hack into your computer.

But, with some knowledge and investment of time, you can set up a computer for remote sharing.
