2.2 issues. Failed to load book. Error box freezes computer.

I have been trying all day to figure this out.
I had 2.1 installed and got an e mail regarding the update to 2.2. So I clicked install. When the program launched, a book that I made in 2.1 opened and bookmaker error message: failed to load book, appeared. I tried to close the box but it would not close. The only way for me to continue to use my computer is for me to restart it. ARGG....
I tried uninstalling the program and reinstalling the new 2.2 and every time it launches, the album from 2.1 tries to open and the same error box appears.
I meet or exceed all of the system requirements.
Any suggestions .

I had/have the same problem - I have an issue out there for Mypublisher to anwer. But I have been able to work on my books despite the error boxes.
Just keep on hitten OK till they stay away. In my case that is 7 times.
See if that works. In the meantime we just wait for an anser from the tech people from Mypublisher.

I am having the same issue. I have tried several times to uninstall and reinstall the program but it still won't load. The frustrating thing is that I was almost finished making a book.

tried that about 20 times and still nothing.
I just tried installing 2.2 with my anti virus turned off and still no luck.

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. I am inquiring about it now to determine what is going on. I will post a reply as soon as I hear how to correct.

Good news.
I'm up and running.
well sort of. See new post in the question section.
I had deleted some old albums through another software program. This caused the problem. From now on I will only delete albums with My Publisher.
