Dear MyPublisher,
Thanks for wonderful result of my first book: the trip to the 3.
I just received them. here's my review:

The package's wonderful. It's tight blue box with MyPublisher print on it.
And it's FAST!!!! I ordered it on Wednesday night with Standard Fedex, today, Friday they're here!!!!

The jacket was awesome. Even the print has a lil bit white line on it. But it's much better than blurb cover. Sadly I can't do more creative with MyPublisher provided layout.

The first page of the book is made by transparent paper which is great. I really love it.

The prints of the whole book is marvelous.
The color balance, saturation, lighting is superb. But it is slightly darker than the original pictures.

The paper is thick and semi-gloss. You can feel the quality when you're touching it.

My cons here:
The book only available for 100 pages. So my creativity was stuck. Trying to fit all the pictures into it.

Need more layout.

Limited fonts and the font size option (for the book and jacket)

Limited cover jacket option (on the back side and the flap)

That's all. Overall, I would rate MyPublisher 4.5 out of 5.

Well done MyPublisher!!!!

Beautiful book. Can you give us some details...it looks like a Deluxe book. I'm interested in how your two page layout printed out. How did you allow for the binding margins? Did you do all of your work in Photoshop? What resolution did you use and the page size (pixels).

I'm working on a Deluxe book now and am trying to get some good ideas. I loved your cover. Great work.

Cruiser,

Thanks for the compliment.
For the double pages full bleed, it slightly taken up spaces from the middle edges.
So if you're really concern about it, move the middle edges of both picture slightly over so you can see the same picture on both side to prevent uneven look when it's printed.

About the resolution, I used 300 dpi with the slightly over size than the booksize provided from MyPublisher. I'm not concern that much if it's little bit too large when you're put it in on the layout, because then you can adjust it with the zoom button from the software.

I've tried to take a picture for you but it's too dark now in Philly because it's cloudy.
Send me your email add if you want.

Thank you all.
nate.

Cruiser,

About the resolution: all the pictures were taken with XT (8Meg) and high resolution JPG files. Mostly they're 3456X2304 pixels.
I used Photoshop CS2 for the cover, intro, inside title page, chapters page and ending, since there is not that kind of option on the software.

Did you reduce the size of your pictures? I just uploaded a small book with 5 mb to 8 mb and am anxious to see what the quality of the print is. Also, what color mode did you use??? sRGB or RGB. I am assuming that since you took them as high resolution JPEG files, they probably are sRGB.

Thanks for sharing your book. It's interesting to let the images tell the story. And for the pages that do have words, it's great having text on a photo. Please share how you do that. Is it necessary to use Photoshop in order to do that with the text? If so, I definitely need to learn how to do photoshop.

Great book Nate. Enjoyed it very much.
