When I tried to EXPORT the file, it gave me a box (like any regular windows file save/or save as) where I had to give it a 'new' file name; it shows in the line underneath the .dime extention, which is correct. My EXPORT worked, and later I IMPORTED it on another computer and that worked too.
Would this help you out a little?

The process of exporting a book should work exactly the same no matter which version you have. Here's how:
- Go to File
- Select Export
- Select the directory (folder or desktop) where you want to save your book
- Name your book file
- The Save As type will auto select as a Dime package (a file with the extension .dime)
- Click Save
Hope this helps!

Hi Cruiser,
Those Export messages you described, I received too, at first. I was trying to directly export my book(s) to a CD. Then I decided to just export them to my desktop; just to see if I could get it to work.... and it did. However, the files are HUGE. I had one book, a wedding album, which is 78 pages but it was 2.3GB when I exported it the first time; then after I cleaned up the excess pictures from the top bar, I exported it again, and now it is a manageable 990 MB, which has now been moved to a flashdrive. The other books have been put on a CD.
