Help! It's been 48 hours that I've been searching for answers and trying to navigate the topics! I'm getting frustrated! When I started making the book, I couldn't decide which photo I would use for cover so I just left the auto build to do its function then I began rearranging the pages and the layout and now I want to finalize the cover but it doesn't let me change/replace the photo! HELP!!!

It sounds like you created an Advanced Jacket. If so, you need to go back into Jacket Maker mode in order to make changes to your cover. You can do this by clicking on the Advanced Jacket button below the design mat which will only show if you are on your cover page. You can then re-design your cover exactly how you wish, inserting the photos you prefer, choosing different layouts and adding text to all sides.
Hope this helps!

I appreciate your response and in trying to help, but unfortunately this does not fix the problem due to two things:
1.) I did not use advanced jacket but initially used the auto build feature which assigned a certain photo on the cover.
2.) I already tried the advanced jacket feature, it does make me replace the photo, BUT the photo I want is NOT in the photos in the film strip shown on top of the screen because the photo tray does NOT include ALL of the photos.
What do I do now? HELP!

On any page of your book except the cover, go to get photos and open the file on your computer that has the picture you want. Click on it and drag it to the tray at the bottom. Now, go back to your jacket and simply drag the picture from the top tray into the cover area. The software will replace the picture you already have on the cover with the one you want.
I found that I cannot download pictures from the cover page...only from one of the pages that have text or pictures. I hope this helps.
