Hi,
I have two long horizontal panorama photos that I would like to stack both the width of one full page. Is there a way to change the size and or proportions of the photos? If not, can I do it in photoshop and import it as one picture? If so, I'm using a black background, I need to match the black of the background so it is seamless.
Thanks for your help.

Hello,
I've just had the same issue with putting large wedding group photos into an album. It's worked really well by cropping the photo to the required size in Photoshop ( in my case from a standard photo size to a panarama size) and then pasting it onto a blank photo with the background colour of choice. You then end up with your cropped photo as a layer on the coloured background. Flatten the layers and then crop the whole thing to the recommended size for importing into the album. Then use the full page photo option to input your new page. The use of the full page option prevents the need to try to colour match your photo background with the MP background.
I'm no PS expect. My limited knowledge has been gained very recently when putting my first few books together so there may be other ways of doing this. But this has worked well for me.
Jo.

Use Photoshop, save it as a JPEG, color space RGB 1998 at 350 dip. The file size seems quite small but as long as you have a blue line around your inserted picture, you should be fine. I did this for a Classic full bleed book and the pictures were quite clear. I did this for a Deluxe album that I haven't received yet so am anxious to see what it looks like. Be sure and allow for your binding. On the Deluxe album, one of the important part of one of my pictures was used in the binding. I will allow at least 1/2" in the future. I also inserted two pages of text prepared in PS using the 350 dpi. On these pages, I used the sizing in the program to reduce it slightly so I would have the correct side borders.
