I have purchased about 4 books and i love all of them. Someone told me about a web page called MPIX i checked it out and did a book. The book came out ok but not great. I love to do books on MyPublisher but i want more options on the layout. The layout on MPIX are great you can add wallpaper, frames, and you can change the layouts. Please, Please Please can you do the same. It would be fantastic because i really like your site and it is so user friendly. I even got my girlfriend to do 2 books. I know that you can use Photoshop to edit and do things and then put them in MyPublisher i did that and it is not the same. Please check out the other website and see if you can incorporate something in yours. They have more layouts and you can change all of the layouts to customize them to your liking that is so great. Please Please Please do different layout. Thanks for listening.

I use Mpix on a regular basis, but only for their prints. Mpix is a professional online photography lab that does beautiful work. I know they print a variety of products but I've never bothered. Their software is some ridiculous size (190 MB or higher?) and I refuse to download the entire thing. I contacted them once with a suggestion that they create a core piece of software and allow people to download and install various modules (each product has its own module). That would keep the download and installer size much smaller.

They replied that they don't produce the software and have no control over it. I believe them when they say someone else produces it, but not when they say they have no control.

HOWEVER, they produce incredibly sharp photos and they hand correct each image prior to print. If you have a few pictures that you want to frame, try them out. Their metallic paper has to be seen to be believed.

For books, though, I am sticking with MyPublisher. There are definitely new pieces of functionality that I would like to see and some improvements in the software, but I have been so happy with the quality of the final product that I have no reason to go back to other companies.
