I'm adding text now to my book (2.2 version). I type it and the text size reads 18 points. When I click on 14 points to try to shrink it down it actually gets bigger! Then I can never go back to the original size (whatever THAT is). What's the deal? I'm afraid to go any further because I don't trust what will actually print. Should I download the 2.2 again...or will that just really screw things up (See my other posts about this project). Also...I know everyone wanted some bigger fonts, but we also need the smaller fonts when added details.

My 2.2 version goes as low as 10 points.

My 2.2 will not offer anything less than 14! I need my 10 and 12 options back ASAP

Oh the 2.2 version problem is with the Bestseller template, that is the one that will not allow any choice lower than 14 regardless of of font style

Yes. I am using the best seller. So I maybe I am stuck with the smallest font being 14. But I still would like to know why it changes sizes on me. My Publisher?

Each Book Style and Page Layout has set fonts and font sizes that can be used for your captions. These can also vary depending on the size of the caption box and the layout. You may want to try using a variety of styles and templates to determine which one would suit your needs best.

My Publisher,
That still doesn't address the issue of how the text size menu is not true to size.
I went ahead and sent in my book and contacted "help" because I was afraid about how it really would print. Now I have viewed it in the "books" area. The font looks fine. I ended up keeping the font I typed in first (even though it SAID it was 18 pt.) I was afraid it would really print 18. There is a glitch with the menu, I think. When you first start typing I think it types 12 pt, but the menu doesn't even give you that option. And if you change your font to 14, 16, or 18 (which are the only sizes on the menu) you are not allowed to go back to that original 12. I found a way around it, though. If you delete the whole page from your book and then rebuild your page that wipes out the memory in the text box and you can begin typing again in 12 pt. I'll see how my book turns out now, but for others perhaps you can see if it's a glitch in the software.

I apologize that the 12 point font option was temporarily unavailable. We have corrected this issue. Please re-download the 2.2 software from our website to make sure you have the version with the 12 point font option. Then open your book and continue as normal. You will see the 12 point font available in the drop down list.
Thanks for your understanding!
Sincerely,
MyPublisher

Thank you for your response. I will download it again and check it out. It is too late for my other books, I'll see how they turn out. But this will be helpful for future books.
