I'm not able to purchase my book. When I get to the purchase page, it starts off by saying i am in the middle of purchasing & uploading and then it continues to tell me that i have clicked back to the browser menu. I have reviewed my pics and it then tells me i have pics in red that r not of high quality, but some of them are bran new pics off my computer. Some r older like my baby pic but i want it in there. I spent hrs on this going through pics and really don't want to lose it. I deleted my cookies, tried turning off my firewall...don't know what else to try. My publisher has not even contacted me back from over 24hrs ago. Please help. Thanks

I am having the same problem. Have finished a book and cannot purchase. If I close bookmaker, wouldn't I lose all the work I've done? Yikes!
Any suggestions?

If you saved your book while you were making it, you shouldn't lose it. All you should lose is the connection to the internet.

I posted this in another post but thought it might encourage you.

I uploaded a 47 page Deluxe album last night and it went through just fine including the CostCo discount. I have ordered four times and have not had a single problem with the software or the upload. I receive my confirmation immediately by email and the books have shipped in the four day period promised. I received an email today that a book I ordered last Thursday shipped today and is in the bookstore now for viewing.

I am on a cable connection, running Windows XP Pro with SP2. I have Norton 360 software that protects me from everything but I still have good luck uploading files. My files are RGB between 1.5 and 3.65 mb. I wish I could help you but everything seems go be going fine on my computer. Perhaps one of your files is corrupted and that might prevent the upload.

Your book will be saved within the MyPublisher program. Just click on Save under the File menu at the top left hand corner while in BookMaker.

Also, to upload, you need to be sure you have a clear connection to the Internet. Pop-up blockers, firewalls and security software must be disabled to allow BookMaker to freely contact our site in order to upload.

If you are seeing the message that you are in the middle of a session, this means your browser window did not open and you are still in the Bookmaker software. Try opening a browser before clicking Purchase. Also, make sure you have the latest updates for your Browser (for IE we recommend 7.0).

Sincerely,
MyPublisher

I'm in the same boat - get to the puchasing page, and it just hangs there after I've clicked on next. I've even updated to IE7 - which caused me problems with other software. I have a large book and a few orders and just can't order it. I have disabled everything that has been said already - wasn't sure where to enable cookies, and still no joy....

please can you help with this problem - it seems to happen to too many people on this site, and I'm at my wits end with this error.

Hi Cat - I'm so sorry you are having problems with purchase. Can you verify that you do not have pop up blockers disabled? Also please take a look to see whether your book name has any special characters like % or & - sometimes that can cause issues.

Sincerely,
MyPublisher

No I've tried all of those solutions, and done all the suggestions given on other threads, but still it doesn't work.

I have turned off my virus checker
Turned off all firewalls (windows and seperate software, and router firewall)
turned off the pop up blocker.
Any more suggestions? I'm desperate to try and send off for this book as a gift.
Cat

Hi Cat -

At this point I'd recommend you export your book, save it to a jump drive or something, download BookMaker on another computer, import it and place your order from there. I'm not sure why you can't purchase if you have tried everything mentioned below. Let me know if you are able to export it elsewhere.

Sincerely,
MyPublisher
