Hi,
I just downloaded MP through costco and am working on my first books, here are some problems/questions I have:
1. When I click on "price check", it takes very long time and then tells me I don't have internet connection while my internet connection is perfectly fine.
2. I know currently there is 40% off promotion by Nov.4, if I purchase through costco (I have my membership card), is it cheaper (45%off)? is the costco discount applies throughout the year?
3. I am in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, how long does it normally take to ship to toronto?

I am having the exact same problem. I e-mailed customer service last night but I got a response saying that I have to call. I've been having this problem for a week now. If you try to download another book style (such as one for babies), it won't download because it can't find an internet connection either (although you're out on the Internet surfing around while you wait for it to connect!)
As far as the 45% off, I saw it said until November 4th when I downloaded the software. A few days later I received an e-mail with the 40% off and the same date deadline. I think they cut it off so that they have time to get all of the holiday orders done in time, regardless of what software you have.
Not sure how to fix it. I don't have time to call until at least tomorrow night. Obviously this is a problem with their software and you'd think they'd have a fix that they could direct you towards!

Sorry for any confusion regarding the Costco holiday savings!
In this instance as Costco members you need not enter a coupon code as you submit your orders to us for publication. The discount will be applied automatically to your order in the Shopping Cart, provided you installed the MyPublisher program from the Costco website. You will receive your standard 20% discount on orders under $50, 25% off orders over $50, and 45% off orders over $100.
Hope this clears up any confusion.

Price check is working 100% as far as I can tell. I ran several test with the costco software and had no problems. If it isn't working for you, then something unique is going on that we would need to investigate and that is why you would need to call in. If you guys are trying to do this from a place of business it might be a firewall blocking access that would also explain not being able to download another book style.
As an alternative you can try clicking purchase and you will see the price as soon as you login in, no need to go any further, put in credit card data, or accept the purchase to see this.

I'm doing mine from my home computer. I have tried disabling the firewall and have also "allowed" the My Publisher software in the program accessability section. Not quite sure what the problem is.

and yes, the holiday discount ends Nov. 4 for both Costco or nonCostco, so order before then.
