Text Block Issues in 4.0

I am doing my first book for my husband for christmas. It is of our 2 boys. On picture templates with captions that are horizontal everything displays fine while designing and at preview. However the picture templates with captions that are at an angle they show as black boxes. I am using the Collage layout and it also does this on the cover page. When I chat with tech they said to change the background color of my text box. This is not an option. The other suggestion was to change the layout. Why offer the layout if there isn't a way to correct this? Please help.

Sorry to hear baout this inconvenience. Please reinstall MyPublisher onto your computer.

Don't 'Uninstall' or 'Remove' the MyPublisher software. Instead, go to www.mypublisher.com, and click on the box GET STARTED (Learn More), in the upper-right corner, to download and reinstall the software over your existing copy.

Save the file to your desktop, and then double click to 'Run' the installer and accept the license agreement. As the installation proceeds, you may see a prompt to allow or deny MyPublisher's access to the internet through your computer's firewall software. It's imperative that you allow the program 'full access' in order for it to function properly.

You'll know that the you've completed the installation when the blue MyPublisher splash screen appears. It will display MyPublisher's latest version in the lower left corner.

Once you've run the installer file, you can delete it. This file is named bmsetup-USD-en-US.

And don't worry about losing your work in progress -- this installation will not harm your saved work.

Sorry but that did not resolve my issue. I changed around some of my page layouts and am happy with the look. But it would have been nice to use some of those other pages. Thanks for the fast reply.

If you have your display set to 16-bit color mode the rotated boxes may show up black when zoomed out, however they will print the same color shown when zoomed in. Just set your display back to 32-bit color mode and everything will be what you see is what you get.
