Hi! Does anyone know if it is possible to save a current project on one computer and then finish it up on another? I cannot figure out how to save the project so that I can access it from another computer.
PLEASE HELP! :)

Hello wheeljs,
Thank you for your business with MyPublisher, and we're sorry to hear that you're having some trouble saving and exporting your book!
You can save your work-in-progress in our software, by clicking on FILE>SAVE.
Then, to transfer your saved file to a different computer, please make sure that you have a CD, DVD, Data drive, a Thumb drive, a Zip drive or other portable media to save this file onto, and follow the steps outlined below:
1) Export your .dime file from your software onto your hard drive.
Here's how:
- Go to File
- Select Export
- Select the directory (folder or desktop) where you want to save your book
- Name your book file
- The Save As type will auto select as a Dime package (a file with the extension .dime)
- Click Save
2) Open your CD writing software (such as Roxio, Easy CD Creator, or Record Now) if you are copying your exported book file to a Data CD. If you are copying to a Thumb drive, Zip drive or other portable media, then click on My Computer on your desktop and click on the drive letter for your Thumb drive, Zip drive or other portable media.
3) Copy the .dime file from your hard drive to the Data CD as a Data file through the CD writer. Or, copy the file to your Thumb drive, Zip drive or other portable media.
4) Download your software onto the new computer.
You are now ready to import your book file from the CD, Thumb drive, Zip drive or other portable media onto the new computer.
To Import your book file back into your software:
- Go to File
- Click on Import
- Select the .dime file (your book) from the CD, Thumb drive, Zip drive or other portable media.
- Click Open
- The file will be added to your book library.
For the best results, we suggest that you run only your software and close all other applications that are running on your computer when you are exporting and importing your book.
PLEASE NOTE: Currently, we do not support the ability to import a file made with the PC version of BookMaker into a Mac version or vice versa.
Again, we apologize for any confusion, and appreciate your continued patience and understanding with this problem.
