Since I make alot of wedding albums for my clients, I want to know how long the albums will last. Have you tested them? Do the pages contain acid or chemicials that will fade?

Hello cckaitrm,

Thank you for your business with MyPublisher, and for your interest in the printing method and type of paper we use to publish MyPublisher books! We're proud to provide you with a high quality, professional product, while keeping our prices competitive.

We print our books using a four-color digital printing process, on the following types of equipment, and on the paper products listed below:

PRINTING EQUIPMENT:
Hewlett Packard 3050 Digital Offset Press

PAPER TYPE:

Deluxe Hardcover Book: Acid-free/archival, 80# glossy cover stock = 216.64 gsm
Classic Hardcover Book: Acid-free/archival, 115# glossy text stock = 170.2 gsm
Paperback PocketBook: Acid-free/archival, 115# glossy text stock = 170.2 gsm

BOOK JACKETS:

The outside of the jacket is laminated and is moisture resistant. The laminate is 1 mil and the paper print stock is 7 mil. High resolution images are printed on a wide format Canon printer.

Provided that your books are kept in a cool, dry place, stored in their protective plastic sleeves, and handled with care, then they should last you and your clients for years to come!
