"optional text" on cover

I would much appreciate an answer to this (already sent to you via e-mail) as I can't upload my book until I know if everything is OK.

Hi,
I'm about to order my book, however, when I preview it, the cover still shows the space for "optional text". I left it blank as I don't wish to include any text. I would have expected the box to not be visible on preview. I hope it won't be printed. Would really appreciate some info !

Thank you for your business with MyPublisher!

You may choose to create your Cover page with no text on it. However, you won't necessarily see a template which provides this option. We understand this can be somewhat confusing.

So, what you'll actually need to do while in MAKE BOOK or ADVANCED JACKET mode- with your Cover page selected- is to click on PAGE LAYOUT or JACKET LAYOUT, and then select one of the templates which has a text box with just green border lines, but no white or black background behind the box. These templates which have text boxes with just the green lines, will print these boxes as empty space, corresponding the the background or image you've chosen to appear on the Cover, when left blank.

Be careful not to choose one of the boxes with a black or white background, though. Otherwise, even if you leave the text boxes blank with these, you'll see the empty black or white background in that space, on your printed Cover page.
