Help with picture window

I'm working on my book (classic, wedding) right now. I'm getting the version with the picture window. I've made the first page with the 1 picture template with the picture in the middle. I cannot preview the picture in the cover when I click "Preview." How will I know if parts of my picture will be cut off by the picture window? Is the window the same size as the square I put my picture in? I'm assuming it is, since it's a MP created template, but I wanted to make sure.

Hello CLstar - I'm not sure I fully understand your question. If you have dragged a photo in and see it Make Book, when you click on Preview it should be displayed there as well. If it looks ok in Preview, it will print well.

The question that user posted is clear to me, as I had the same problem. We are assuming that the cover window is simply a cutout, where the picture on the front page is seen through.
It appears that picture window is imbedded in the cutout and the contents of the first page have nothing to do with it. Correct?

The picture is seen through the die cut in the center of the book. The photo is "attached" to the back of the die cut as part of the cover. It's a thicker, more durable material.
