Shortly after I starting typing in the text, the text box begins to flash and then the program crashes. I have called tech support and looked at the forum and the advice was to download the latest version from the website. I have done this twice and I am having the same problem. I am extremely frustrated and working a deadline to complete this book as a gift. I know others have had the same issue, has anyone had any luck?
I am using the Vintage style...not sure if this is happening in other styles?
Please help!

I am having this same issue; I just downloaded 3.2 in the hopes of finishing my large honeymoon photo book which is supposed to be an anniversary gift. I am using the travel book style, which is different from Vintage I believe. I now have nothing to give my husband because I can't edit any text or swap any photos without the program crashing. I worked so well with a calendar I made in a previous version, and I'm just really disappointed.
This new version is junk, it handles large volumes of photos poorly and makes text editing even harder than it was before. Sorry for the negativity guys.

I, too, have the latest version and can' seem to edit text. When I try to edit my text--it just changes to full-page view and leaves me with no options. I don't want to have to create all text as JPG's in Photoshop... Please can you offer us help or a fix? Thank you.

Me too! I have been working on a book for over a week now. Have downloaded and re-downloaded the program twice on each of two machines (Both PCs - Windows XP home version...lots of space and power on each.)
Feel like I have re-entered all the text at least 4 times!
Keeps crashing.
Also having trouble with wonky cover...keep losing changes I have saved.
Please fix!
Soon?!

While I hate to be a 'me too', my wife has reported numerous crashes using the latest version while entering text. Getting frustrated as well:confused:

Over the past six years I've probably done about 25 books, many of them pushing the 100 page limit. I use the "Modern" format and have always been pleased with how easy MP is to use. However, I've just done my first book this year and so it's my first experience with 3.2. I'm about to pull my hair out!! The text editing issues that are being described by everyone are very real. I've tried several computers with both XP and Vista, both with fast processors and lots of memory, and the program is constantly crashing. On the Vista computer, the text box starts blinking and I know I'm in trouble. On the XP machine, the program just suddenly disappears with no warning. I've sent a disk with my file to MP tech support and they claim they can't duplicate the problem!
Besides the crashes, I've also had a very annoying problem with font size on 5-photo templates. Sometimes it will not allow a 9 pt font (like I'm using on the rest of the book). Instead, 10 pt is the smallest that shows up in the dropdown box. Needless to say, this doesn't do much for uniformity.
MP - please admit you have a problem and try to get this fixed. I hesitate to start another book and I know I will no longer recommend that friends try it unless something is done.

you can now download 3.3 which has an entirely revamped font tool (and can use any font on your machine)
