View Full Version : v3.2 global settings??

So far, the "global" settings seem much less than truly global. I keep setting the default font to Arial in Settings. The font remains Arial for whatever captions I do on that page but reverts to something else (often Palatino) and the Default box in Settings reverts to None when I start the next page.
Is there something that I am missing here?

Hi CWVoigt,
Thanks for your business with MyPublisher, and we're sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with the global font settings, in your version of our software! I hope we can help you solve this problem.
Since this sounds to likely be resulting from a software issue, we reccommend returning to our website, and downloading and installing a fresh copy of the MyPublisher software from there, over your current copy. This should hopefully correct the problem.
Here's how:
Don't 'Uninstall' or 'Remove' BookMaker, just follow the link below to download and reinstall the software over your existing copy. And don't worry; This won't affect your saved books.

Click 'Download Now!' and then 'Save.' Point the download to your desktop or downloads folder. Once the download completes, double click on the installer file, named bmsetup-USD-en-US. Select 'Run' from the dialog box that follows and accept the license agreement.
Once the installation is finished, delete the installer file (bmsetup-USD-en-US) to avoid confusing it with the MyPublisher icon. Then, you should be able to launch the most current release of the MyPublisher software without incident.
However, if you should do this, and find that you're still having trouble, then please let us know, and we'll further assist you.
You may reach us by phone at 1 (877) 411-6978, between the hours of 9AM-9PM EST, Monday through Friday; or, e-mail us at customerservice@mypublisher.com, 24/7!
We appreciate your continued patience and understanding with this problem.

So, I downloaded 3.2 again. Same result. In downloading, I used the "Run program" rather than the "Save" option but I don't see how that could be the problem.

Send me a message at qa@mypublisher.com stating you are having trouble with the global font settings. I will send you a version I am testing that should help with this.
