This is my second book with my publisher. I have to say I was extremely happy with my first book. The quality of the book was amazing. I highly recommend the book jacket; I thought that it turned out great on my first book.

I used Photoshop CS3 to make the photo 2008 collage. I used the year as an outline guide to position all the pictures (unfortunately I had to bring each picture in one by one). After all the pictures were where I wanted them I used a tool called past into. You would need to merge all of the pictures together on one layer then select the outline of 2008 and then paste the pictures into year. The whole process took a long time but I had fun putting it together so I did not mind the time. I used the same program to build all of the backgrounds and elements. I started using the program to do my first book. It is a very powerful program and I feel like I learn something new every time I use it.

Thanks for the link to the mosaic program. I just recreated my 2008 collage in about 15 minutes. I don’t even want to say how long it took me to do previously. As far as the text I used Book Antiqua bold with a height of 460pt. Also in the character pallet I adjusted the height percentage to 178% and text width 107%.
