A Really lovely book. Very nicely laid out as well. I'm sure your parents were very pleased and touched by such a thoughtful gift.

You did a beautiful job with the setup. I had a couple of questions because I couldn't tell what size book you chose. I liked how you had a photo graphic on the first page but when I've tried to have a regular photo/graphic on the 1st pg of a classic book it doesn't allow it. And also, did you set up each page separately or did you use the page templates most of the time? Thanks.

Thanks Aprille and Insighful for your comments!
Insightful, this book was the classic hardcover size. When working in MP, the very "first" page on the left is always left blank and you cannot put a picture there. Therefore, the real first page of your book will be on the right side when you open the book in MP. Does that make sense? Just about all of my pages I put together myself in power point rather than use the page templates. Hope that helps!

Kzook, What a great album! Very fun to look at! I'm from Kirkland so I enjoyed seeing some of the backgrounds of your photos. You mentioned you did your book with PP. I love working with PP but am having serious problems getting them into MP. I keep getting the red line around my pages letting me know the resolution is below the recommended level. When I size it down so the border turns blue the page ends up being 1/2 the size as it originally started and ruins the whole effect. I've tried resetting my computer settings to allow PP to resize without luck. Any suggestions?

Cherylntan,
If you are making a classic book with MP, double the size of the classic book measurements and make that the size of your PP template. You'll find that you can drop it into MP without any problems. The only thing I've found is that my template usually gets cropped a bit once I place it in MP, so I have to adjust accordingly.
My PP template measurements for the classic book:
W: 33.75 inches
H: 26.23 inches
