This is my first book. My father was in college when WWII broke out. He joined a Navy progeam that allow him to complete college and then go to midshipman school. He finished classes in March 1943 at Athens College in Athens, Al. Then He went to school in NY in April. When commencement was held in May in AL, he could not return. This past August, he participated in the summer commencement at Athens State University and "officially" received his diploma 65 years late. He is 88 years old. This book is a pictoral account of the day and was his christmas present.
